 Ingredients (for 2 chicken burgers)Checken Burger

 

  • Burger buns – 2

     

  • Ground chicken (minced chicken) – 250 g

     

  • Egg – 1 (for binding)

     

  • Breadcrumbs – 2–3 tbsp

     

  • Onion – 1 small (finely chopped for patty) + few onion rings for filling

     

  • Garlic paste – 1 tsp

     

  • Ginger paste – 1 tsp

     

  • Salt – ½ tsp

     

  • Black pepper powder – ½ tsp

     

  • Chili flakes (optional) – ½ tsp

     

  • Oil/Butter – 2 tbsp (for frying patties & toasting buns)

     

  • Lettuce leaves – 4 leaves

     

  • Tomato – 1 medium (sliced)

     

  • Cheese slices – 2

     

  • Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp

     

  • Tomato ketchup – 2 tbsp

     

     

       Method

 

  • Make the chicken patty

     

  • In a bowl, mix ground chicken, egg, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, garlic paste, ginger paste, salt, pepper, and chili flakes.

     

  • Shape the mixture into 2 round patties.

     

  • Cook the patties

     

  • Heat oil in a pan.

     

  • Fry the patties on medium heat for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.

     

  • Toast the burger buns

     

  • Slice the buns in half.

     

  • Toast lightly in a pan with butter or oil until golden.

     

  • Assemble the burger

     

  • Spread mayonnaise and ketchup on the buns.

     

  • Place lettuce → chicken patty → cheese slice → tomato slice → onion rings.

     

  • Cover with the top bun.

     

  • Serve
